TRANSFIGURATION MEN'S CLUB
(founded September 1987 - after 14 years of Bingo Fund-raising)
WHO ARE WE ?
WHAT WE DO ?
- A group of men from the community (not all are Catholics) ranging in age from 30 to 90 plus and who are interested in the Parish, the Church, its people, the community and one another.
- We officially meet usually once a month .
WHAT WE DO ?
- Some are Church Ushers, and some are Altar Servers; Wardens, and others do voluntary carpentry, plumbing, electrical and maintenance work, in both the rectory and Church. We help organize Casino night , occasional trips and 2 Golf Tournaments. We also provide manpower for fund raising projects -- annual Bazaar, Raffle, Texas Hold'em and Bowl-a-thon , etc.
- The best part of all - 30 men who belong , enjoy it and seem to have a good time doing it.
- We welcome new members and invite all men of the area to join us, provide your input and help make a difference in this community.
